located 17km from Orgiva, the last five by good track, and at an altitude of 1,200 m on the west side of the Poquiera valley, and in a Parque Natural, a recently restored 150 sq.m. cortijo on 24,000 sq.m. of land. The cortijo has three bedrooms, with built- in cupboards, a bathroom with full size bath and shower stall, and a very large ( nearly 80 sq.m. ) living room with fireplace at one end and open plan kitchen at the other. The house is stepped, with two of the bedrooms at the lower level, with a walled 8 by 4 m yard, shaded by a walnut tree, in front. In front of the house is a large patio, and above and directly behind it a large era (threshing floor) which is effectively another large patio. The windows and doors are double glazed and there is plumbing fitted for central heating ( which is not included in the sale price, but can be installed). The whole has been restored in traditional style, using natural stone and chestnut beams. The location is peaceful and rural, and there are spectacular views to the north, of the Sierra Nevada, the east, of the Poquiera valley, and to the south, of the Sierra Lujar.
